Casino & Hotel is a free-standing facility, separated from Arundel Mills by the inner mall ring road. Although not directly connected to the mall, the casino is within walking distance of the food court entrance. The walkway from Arundel Mills Mall to Live! Casino is located at Entry 2, near the Dining Pavilion.

Casino & Hotel's coronavirus vaccination clinic.HANOVER, MD — The Anne Arundel County Department of Health on Tuesday opened a coronavirus vaccination site at Live! Casino & Hotel in Hanover. This is one of the four county-sponsored clinics planned in Anne Arundel.
'Community support has always been a part of our DNA,' Maryland Live! General Manager Anthony Faranca said. 'This is another part of that commitment.'
The shot will also be available at these places:
- Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold
- Baymeadow Clinic in Glen Burnie
- Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis
The county will announce more locations, mobile clinics and pop-up sites as vaccine rollout continues. Inoculation providers ask that residents only show up to a clinic if they have an appointment scheduled for that day.
On Friday, Anne Arundel County opened preregistration for the vaccine. All county residents can head to aacounty.org/covidvax or call 410-222-3663 on weekdays to sign-up for their shot.
Registrants will give their name, contact information and occupation. Health officials will reach out to schedule an appointment whenever they are eligible. Still, it's going to take some time before the immunization is widespread.
Arundel Casino
'Please be patient,' Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman said during a livestream from the casino's clinic. 'There are hundreds of thousands of county residents who need to be vaccinated.'
Maryland is vaccinating about 15,000 residents-per-week. The state tallies the number of Marylanders who have gotten the immunization on this website.
So far, 20,805 Anne Arundel County residents have gotten their first shot. That's 3.59 percent of the population.
The second dose has reached 1,822 residents. That's 0.32 percent of the population.
Maryland focused its early immunizations on residents and staff of long-term care facilities, health care workers and first responders. That initial wave was the state's first of five stages of inoculation (1A, 1B, 1C, 2 and 3).
The state entered phase 1B of vaccination on Monday. That enables these Marylanders to get the inoculation:
- Anybody age 75 and older
- Residents of congregate living facilities
- School staff
- Those needed for continuity of government
- Child-care providers
- High-risk inmates
Maryland will begin stage 1C on Jan. 25. Residents age 65 to 74 will be eligible in that period, as will essential workers in lab services, agriculture, manufacturing and the postal service.
Gov. Larry Hogan reminded Marylanders the state does not need to vaccinate everybody in each phase before moving onto the next. For more information on Anne Arundel County's plan, click here.

Live! Casino & Hotel, formerly Maryland Live! Casino, is a casino, entertainment complex and hotel in Hanover, Maryland, adjacent to Arundel Mills Mall, owned and operated by The Cordish Companies. The casino opened its first phase on June 6, 2012, which included 3,200 slot machines and electronic table games. The second phase opened in September 2012, bringing the total to 4,750 machines.[1] Because the casino was built on what was formerly mall parking lots, Live! Casino & Hotel features a six-story parking garage that is free to visitors of both the mall and the casino.[2]
Starting 8:00am on December 27, 2012, Maryland Live! transitioned to being open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. On April 11, 2013, Maryland Live! debuted 122 table games including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, 3-Card Poker, 4-Card Poker, Mini-Baccarat, and more, to complement its electronic games and slot machines. A 52-table poker room opened on August 28, 2013.
Live! Casino & Hotel includes over 3,900 slots and electronic table games, 189 live table games, and 52 poker tables. There is parking for 5,000 vehicles in a multi-level parking garage, including both self-park (free) and valet.[3] A 310-room hotel and conference center opened on June 6, 2018 (six years after the first phase of the casino opened), on a site adjacent to the casino building. At 17 stories, the hotel is the tallest building in Anne Arundel County.
